Talli Redefines Litigation Payments with intive
a Cutting-Edge Platform

Rahul Chhabra,
VP Head of Business Development WE & Asia
Talli entered the market with a clear mission: to revolutionize the outdated process of distributing litigation settlements. Traditionally, settlement disbursement in the U.S. relied on inefficient, paper-based methods, leading to delays, errors, and high administrative costs. Digital transformation in this space required not only seamless fund distribution but also compliance with diverse financial regulations. Talli recognized the urgent need for a purpose-built solution that could navigate these challenges while ensuring a streamlined experience for both administrators and claimants.

Based on previous successful projects and a proven track record of quality work, Talli selected intive as their technology partner to bring this vision to life. With a tight deadline to launch, intive was tasked with developing a secure, flexible, and high-performance platform within just a few months. Beyond the core functionality, the solution needed to integrate with payment providers, ensure data security, and create frictionless claims experience for settlement recipients.
An Adaptable, High-Performing Team
To tackle Talli's challenges, we assembled a highly motivated, flexible team capable of adapting to different roles as needs evolved. We began with a six-week discovery phase to analyze workflows, stakeholder needs, and compliance challenges. Using a number of techniques, such as Business Model Canvas and event storming, we aligned priorities with Talli’s goals, ensuring a clear product vision before moving into development.

Scalable Architecture for Rapid Deployment
Following discovery, we designed a modular architecture that balanced speed, flexibility, and scalability. The system was built to support immediate needs while allowing for future expansion, ensuring Talli could enter the market quickly without sacrificing long-term growth potential.
Smart Integrations to Accelerate Development
From the outset, we strategically integrated best-in-class third-party solutions for payment processing, customer interactions, and additional payment flexibility. This approach allowed us to focus development efforts on Talli's unique value proposition while leveraging established solutions for standard functionality.

A Security-First Approach
Handling financial transactions required a robust security strategy. We implemented a dual authentication system tailored to different user groups: simple, secure email authentication for beneficiaries who interact with the platform briefly, and enhanced security features for business users who require frequent access. A third-party security audit validated our approach, ensuring the platform met industry standards.
intive delivered a fully functional platform within the promised timeframe. The project began with a six-week discovery phase, followed by six months of core development, enabling Talli to process its first payments as planned. The platform successfully handled multiple litigation settlements targeting hundreds of thousands of beneficiaries.
The digital transformation of the legal disbursement process yielded significant efficiency improvements. What was once a manual, error-prone system became streamlined and increasingly automated. The platform's modular design allowed for easy addition of new features beyond the initial backlog, adapting to emerging requirements without disrupting the core functionality.

Designed specifically for litigation workflows, Talli’s platform streamlines litigation disbursements while addressing industry-specific compliance requirements. It reduces the administrative burden for class administrators and law firms and offers beneficiaries flexible payout options, including bank transfers, prepaid cards, P2P and gift cards from retailers like Amazon, Target, and Starbucks, improving accessibility and convenience.
Looking forward, the platform is designed for scalability to handle larger litigation settlements and volumes of users. The modular architecture provides
a solid foundation for future growth, with plans to expand beyond the U.S. market. By balancing speed and scalability, intive has helped Talli become a disruptive force in the legal disbursement market, setting a new standard for how settlements are distributed in the digital age.
